Various Seats and Classes

Various seats and classes of Air Canda caters to different kinds of sections of the society and provides different ticket prices.

Economy Class – This is the most basic class, and is meant for those who want to spend less on the travel and more on the destination

Premium Economy – this is slightly better than the economy class, as it provides for various changes and the seats are more comfortable than the ordinary economy class

Business Class – Here, the seats are highly comfortable, and the prices are much higher than the economy and premium economy. So, if one is looking to travel in luxury then this is the place to be!

Infant policy

In case a couple is traveling with a child below the age of two then they will not need to purchase a ticket for the infant policy. The child can sit on the lap ( the airline needs to be informed in advance). However, if the couple is traveling with more than two infants, then a ticket will need to be purchased for the second infant.

For international travel

A child under 2 years old (24 months) is charged 10% of an adult fare plus taxes, even if the infant will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight.

Pet Policy

One can’t imagine travel without their pet, and thus Air Canada lays down their pet policy which allows for one to travel with their pet. The pet can travel in the passenger cabin, can be checked-in as baggage and can also be shipped as cargo.

There are however certain terms and conditions attached. In case the pet is being put in the passenger cabin –  your pet must be at least 12 weeks, one cannot travel with more than one pet, the pet should not show any signs of aggressive behavior ( go to ibookair.com and know more)

In case the pet is being checked in as baggage –  your pet should be in the kennel throughout the flight, the kennel should meet all requirements, and the pet should be domesticated

Good news – if the pet cannot be put in the passenger cabin or check-in as baggage then they can be shipped as cargo!

Refund and Cancellation Policy

As far as Air Canada is concerned, the refund policy goes – If one wants to cancel the ticket within 24 hours, then the entire amount will be refunded.

However, there are certain tickets which can be refunded, however, a cancellation fee will be charged

On the other hand, there are certain tickets that cannot be refunded at all.
